About Me

My photo
Whilst running round after two bambinos I set up www.kryshees.com making childrens clothes, unique childrens accessories, wonderful nurser adornments and yummy mummy type products. I love things bright and bold and try to bring these into childrens items.

Wet wednesday indeedy!

So the rain will be keeping us in mostly as the forest is damp and dismal, but it has however given me some time to pop some things onto my folksy shop.

I dearly love 'my' Elliefant and would rather someone buy him and give him to me! Tee hee, but alas on he went this morning along with a couple more dresses.

All my photos seem to be screaming little red riding hood in theme to me at the moment! Perhaps I should get a move on and make a little red cape too!

Finally!!! More cosy warm blankets on folksy.

Its time to wrap up nice and cosy, so more of my fleecey patch blankets have been listed on my folksy shop. I particularly love this vintage cream & lace combo with a brown spotty cotton and a funky flowery fabric I found last year.

But now its time to sit down with the babies to a wintery roast of crackly pork, roast tatties and veg with some scrummy roasted apples!

Happy sunday everyone!

My Halloween Treats!

So a little time on my hands lets me upload some piccies of my halloween treats for littlies...

These are available on my folksy shop right now, ready just in time for Halloween!

A weekend of blog silence for me!

So another weeked of fairing (fingers crossed for sucess) will take me to the pleasant town of Romsey. I really love this place, with its market day and funny shops.

So whats on the sewing table today? 3 patch blankets to finish off, 4 squishy fish and 4 birdies. A plethora (its my word of the day) of bibs, and perhaps a few more bags.

Next week seriously has to be dress week and I found some lush princess dress patterns I need to have a play with! My lil girl will like that lots and lots, as she can only go to nursery in a dress at the moment. Skirts and trousers do not fit the princess image, aparently. Well that told me!

I just found this on Etsy and Emmie would love it!

A cold and frosty morning!

Yes, just like others, my heating was indeedy on this morning (opps and last night). But it was lovely to see the frost on the forest. Just getting into the winter spirit.

I can't 'do' christmas till after hubbies birthday in November, and then I start shopping with all manic and haste.

Time for a cuppa, feel free to join in. Pop the kettle on, find your slippers (fluffy or otherwise) and drink up!

Just how manic can a weekend be?

Blimey! Just how manic can one weekend be? Ok so for some it might be a bit lame, but a double fair weekend and a ladies nite. Phew!

I did however suceed in sewing all previously said mice and 4 of them found lovely new homes. I think I should start a mouse rehoming programme! I desperately need to take pics, but today we had a trip to the fabric shop in Southampt, then met hubby for lunch with the bambinos (naughty pizza hut!). A quick trip to hobbycraft also supplied me with decent glue for my makings from my birthday PRESENT!!!!

I'm still a bit excited about it can you tell? My wonderful new bigshot has cut me lots of flowers out of some beautiful suedes and leather offcuts, and are going to be merrily glued together onto clips, brooches and hairbands. Any other crafty suggestions please feel free to tell me!

Lots of mice and one cat

Good news. Squeak is still at home! And also spent most of the night trying to get under my duvet and purring loudly in my ear. Should I take this as a sign of happiness, temporary happiness perhaps.

14 mice shells (poor things) are sat on my sewing table ready to be transformed into huge doorstops or lil bookends. Pics will follow, promise!

The thing is, I need to get as many done as possible for a fair weekend in Burley http://www.cornflowercountrycrafts.co.uk/ ,I'm going to a party friday night and really want to go to the new mums evening for my lo's nursery. But think I might have to give tonight a miss, depending how quick I get off here and sew some mice. hmmm. Will see how that one works out.

Cat woes :o(

Ok, so about 3 week back it was dd birthday party and one of my cats scarpered!! She does sometimes wander off for a few days, so thought nothing of it. Hubby was everso busy in Monaco having a jetset week for work, and I toddled off to catch up for the weekend (Helicopter transfer included).

But still no poor squeaky cat!

But woohoo, turns out she shacked up at a neighbours house, which was a relief she was safe, after phoning all the nearby vets.

But now, everytime I let her out, she makes a slow-cat beeline for their house. So every morning I end up collecting her again....need to read up some more cat psych to how to stop this reoccuring....we'll see how that one goes.

playing with my blog?!

Ok so after pressing nearly every button, its looking a lil prettier! Please let me know what you think?

first follower!!

Whoohoo...4 min in and I have a follower...er shame its a begged one but still we have to start somewhere!
God alone help me on this introduction to the blogging world. Can my ramblings really be of any interest to anyone out there? And whats it all about anyway??

Well.....heres hoping that those who find me can understand kryshee speak and find it/me entertaining enough.

I have entered the dark disturbing world of stock preparation for my numerous fairs in the run up to xmas...theres fabric everywhere, fluff where fluff just shouldn't be, pattern pieces getting dangerously close to muddled, and poor hubby being sent on shopping errands for craft supplies!!!

Keep with me as I bring you pics of my new stock and goings on!
